Paragraphs in footer don't keep negative indentation

Postby pkrkoska » Fri Jun 10, 2016 9:36 am

Hi everybody,

we are currently considering OnlyOffice for a document editing feature in our legal case management software. At the moment we use the community version.

We have one problem with displaying content of one particular Word document. In the file, there is a footer with a few paragraphs. These paragraphs have the indentation set to -1 cm for both Before text and After text and are displayed correctly in MS Word.

However, in OO editor, those two values somehow gets nulled and in order to fix this, we have to reset the Left and Right values in OO to -1 cm to fix the problem.

Now I know we cannot expect everything to be displayed exactly the same as in MS Word but still - this causes a huge problem for one of our clients who has literally hundreds of documents with this footer and everytime they edit one in OO, the footer gets broken. Where should I look to fix this problem? I am a little worried there is going to be more formatting problems like this one.

The Word document causing the problem is here (I cannot upload it here): https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=F2A57569AF2BBE8D!20171&authkey=!ACRqkI1gMtF78UY&ithint=file%2cdoc

Thank you.
