Interface not scaling on high PDI screens

Post by briggs.alden » Thu Aug 25, 2016 6:31 pm

On a high DPI screen, the interface is unusably small. I don't recall this being a problem until about a month ago.
The affected computers are HP Chromebook 13 G1 with a QHD screen. Naturally I am not currently sitting at one of them to take a screenshot.
The computer I'm on can at least show the problem to some degree (Lenovo Thinkpad 13 Chromebook 1080p)

This is at screen default resolution 1920x1080. The OnlyOffice interface is appropriately scaled.

This is with the screen scaled to 1536x864 but the OnlyOffice interface remained at default 1920x1080

I'll post screenshots from the QHD screens tomorrow when I can get my hands on one.

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Hello,

Thank you for the screenshots attached.

We would like to note, that actually to date we have applied the restriction to change scale using application for documents editing to avoid font blur.

We are planning to solve this problem in one of the next updates of the service by introducing additional settings.

We are sincerely sorry for the inconveniences.

Our developers will do their best to solve this issue as soon as possible.

Thank you for the reply, and sorry for the duplicate. I didn't see either one post until just this morning.
